These sessions in the presence of actors or directors are part of the recipe for success of this cinema opened 28 years ago. For its director, it also benefits from its location.

“Paris is the most film-loving city in the world, where there are a lot of film students, where there are a lot of film shoots, it’s a city of cinema. We are right in the heart of this city and so we respond to this cinephilia”explains Patrice Le Marchand, Director of the UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles.

With 2.2 million admissions, it is the most attended cinema in the world. This is a million less than in 2018 when he had already taken the lead in this ranking.
