Marking its 20th year, the ordinary general meeting of “Gens d’Ici” was held on Sunday February 18, 2024 in the morning in Lavernose-Lacasse. The office presented to members the results of this year full of activities and numerous events: games/crepes evening, visit to the Miracle brewery, exhibition for the 20th anniversary, participation in the association forum, exhibition dedicated to the history of rugby and at Alfred Mayssonnie with period objects and finally the traditional tavern which delights the dancers. The assembly unanimously voted for the moral and financial report.
Volunteers ready for the merger party
This year 2024, Les Gens d’Ici will participate in the fusion festival, from Friday March 15 to Sunday March 24, by participating in the theater evening on Saturday March 16 at the Lavernose-Lacasse village hall. The volunteers of the association invite you to participate, on Sunday March 17 at 11 a.m. in the human chain between Place de la République (site of the old town hall of Lacasse) and the town hall of Lavernose-Lacasse. It will also be the occasion for a commemoration. They invite you to come in large numbers, old or new residents of the town. The team is also working on other projects, which are still being considered. You don’t change a winning team: the board of directors and the office are unchanged.
