In 1976, Michel Dumas put his suitcases in Quebec for a fortnight. For the Summer Olympics, the city of Montreal is recruiting cooks. He will never leave.

One day, he films himself preparing a meal in his kitchen to send the video to his mother back in France. Michel’s son decides to publish the video on the internet in August 2013. This is how the chef’s career as a YouTuber began.
With nearly 700,000 subscribers on his Youtube channel and over 1.3 million on Facebook, he can count on a loyal community.

Cult expressions
“Turn and turn”, “like that”, “super nickel” and his famous little knives are now famous and may even be part of your vocabulary. In one of his videos, he even winks at Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.
One thing is certain, the customers of the « table 55 » are lucky.
