Leopold Wahlstedt Transfer: Odd Goalkeeper Wants to Join Denmark’s Brøndby ASAP

Leopold Wahlstedt wishes to leave Odd to go to Denmark’s Brøndby “as soon as possible”, according to Nettavisen’s information.

The Norwegian newspaper reports on Sunday evening that Odd and Brøndby are in continued negotiations about the Swedish national team goalkeeper. The Danish big club is said to have had an initial bid rejected and then made a bid of five million kroner.

Leopold Wahlstedt has told Odd what his will is:

– I have announced what my position is, said Wahlstedt to Sunday’s meeting with Vålerenga, according to Nettavisen:

Odds sports manager, Morten Rønningen:

– He has informed us of what he wants. I can’t say anything more now.

Brøndby is said to be in urgent need of a new first-choice goalkeeper after Mads Hermansen was sold to Leicester earlier this week, for around SEK 60 million.

Wahlstedt’s contract with Odd expires at the end of December 2023. He is listed for an A international match for the Swedish national team.
