Leonberg – A second series of tests on Corona has shown that two other employees of the Leonberg hospital have contracted the virus. This increases the number of infected people to five. Hospital operations remain longer and more restricted than initially thought. Vascular and visceral surgery will not admit any more patients until July 31. Planned interventions are postponed if medically justifiable. In urgent cases, the Sindelfingen-Böblingen Clinic ensures care. All other departments at Leonberg Hospital, such as trauma surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, radiology, gastroenterology and cardiology as well as the central emergency department are still in operation.
