The Italian legend of Juventus will leave the Old Lady to take up a new challenge in the Bundesliga, at Union Berlin.
“Here we go! According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Leonardo Bonucci will join the German club Union Berlin. The 36-year-old Italian central defender will leave Juventus Turin, with whom he was still under contract until 2024.
A total agreement was found this Thursday between all parties. The 2020 European champion with Italy will travel to Berlin later today if all goes as planned. He will sign a one-season contract, plus an optional one, with Union Berlin, which will play in the Campions League this season.
