Leon, Guanajuato.- A man of approximately 36 years of age, who was nicknamed “El Piolo”, was shot to death in the San José neighborhood, in Lion. Another man was injured in the attack and was taken to a hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The events were reported at 9:30 p.m. this Saturday, on the Mercurio Street in San José almost corner with Sodium, in the San José neighborhood, in Lion.
If you know that “El Piolo”, as he was known by some neighbors, he was sitting outside a home.
At that moment, he was surprised by armed men traveling in a white sedan car, who approached him and shot him repeatedly.
Neighbors and friends witnessed the crime while his body was left lying on the sidewalk.
After committing the murder, the murderers ran towards the vehicle and escaped towards the sodium street.
The 911 emergency number received the report and agents of the Policeman came to the call, along with paramedics from Red Cross, who checked the victim.
Lifeguards confirmed that “El Piolo” had already died.
At the scene of the crime, casings were struck, so the area was cordoned off and guarded by the Preventive Police, for the arrival of ministerials and the Forensic Medical Service.
