The Oilers set the course for victory in the first third, and the hosts took a 4-0 lead in the 19th minute. Draisaitl finished with his goal in the last third. With 17 goals, the Cologne native is still the top scorer in the NHL.

Moritz Seider had to admit defeat with the Detroit Red Wings away to the Arizona Coyotes after extra time with 1: 2 (1: 0, 0: 0, 0: 1).
