Leo (27) climbed to the roof of a huge skyscraper: A bitter surprise at the finish line

Twenty-seven-year-old climber Leo Urban chose the Silberturm high-rise building, which is home to the Deutsche Bahn railway company. People called the firefighters for a daring stunt, but the climber advanced at such a rapid pace that rescue did not arrive until the man was safely on the roof.

Climbing skyscrapers has recently been a popular activity for climbers. In April, for example, the British George King climbed the 116-meter-high building of the Meliá Hotel in Barcelona. He also had to explain his actions to the police. The Frenchman Alain Robert earned the nickname Spiderman for repeated ascents on the facades of skyscrapers.
