Lenzerheide: New management structure at LMS AG

Marc Schlüssel will take over sole management of Lenzerheide Marketing und Support AG (LMS) from November. He has been co-managing director with the outgoing Philipp Vassalli since February 2024.

With the impending departure of co-managing director Philipp Vassalli, the Board of Directors has redefined the management structure of Lenzerheide Marketing and Support AG (LMS): From November 1, Marc Schlüssel will serve as sole managing director. At the same time, the management team will be strengthened and more closely integrated into the management. [RELATED]

Over the past three years, the LMS organization has continuously developed, writes the company. In the destination master plan, the areas of responsibility were confirmed and specifically developed further, including in the areas of sustainability, digital transformation, emotionalization of the offer and major events.

Against this background, the Board of Directors of LMS has decided to reorganize the company into a “management team structure” with Schlüssel as Managing Director.

Part of LMS since 2018
Schlüssel joined LMS in May 2018 as Head of Marketing and Communications and member of the Executive Board and has been co-managing director with the outgoing Philipp Vassalli since February 2024. “I am delighted that we have been able to win Marc for this role. In his six years working for the Lenzerheide holiday region, he has not only acquired extensive specialist and management skills, but has also demonstrated his passion for the continuous development of the region,” says Daniel Stiefel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LMS.

“Since I started working at LMS, being able to help shape and develop Lenzerheide in a targeted and future-oriented manner has been my greatest concern and motivation. I am filled with gratitude to be able to lead LMS with a competent and energetic team and to successfully master the challenges ahead. I am very much looking forward to initiating and supporting innovative and sustainable projects and solutions for the destination together with committed partners,” adds Schlüssel.

New area for the tourism organization
The gap created by the departure of co-director Vassalli is to be filled by creating a new department for product and experience development. Central development topics such as sustainability, slow traffic and digitalization will be located there. LMS is looking for an experienced manager to manage these tasks. LMS also wants to strengthen its management support finance and services departments, it says.

Vassalli will continue to work for the Lenzerheide holiday region until the beginning of November and will drive forward his current tasks and projects. In 2025, he will take on a new challenge in the private sector. (mm)
