Due to the global health crisis, a gauge of 5,000 spectators must be respected in football stadiums.
More The Parisian reports that Lens requested an exemption from the Prefecture of Pas-de-Calais so that 15,000 supporters could attend the meeting. The territorial administration also told the Francilien newspaper that it “will in particular take into account the health situation in Pas-de-Calais in view of the current progress observed in positive coronavirus tests, as well as the proposed protection measures.“
Lens – PSG could therefore be the first match in France with so many spectators. It will therefore depend on the decision of the Prefecture. However, the artesian club is not the first to request an exemption. Olympique de Marseille, Girondins de Bordeaux and FC Lorient saw their request rejected by the prefectures of their territory.
