BLOOD AND GOLD ON THE ROAD TO EUROPE
Winner of Monaco on the score of 3 to 0 in a hyper controlled match, Lens is never again on its way to Europe.
Lens achieved an almost perfect match in an equally perfect atmosphere with a Bollaert-Delelis stadium full as an egg and in fusion, in every sense of the word besides with in the 30th minute a firework fired by the kop de la Marek requiring the match to be stopped for a few moments. In this shock of the 32nd day, Lens mastered his subject with a big start. Lois Openda, voted Ligue 1 player of the month for March, scored twice again with a brace in seven minutes in the first half. Untenable, the young Belgian striker from Racing brought misery to the Monegasque defenders. Faced with an overwhelmed Monaco team, Lens completed its work with a third goal signed Adrien Thomasson. With this new success as the championship enters its home stretch, Lens is heading a little further towards Europe.
