Lenovo has announced the Legion Slim 5 gaming laptop. The model combines an AMD processor with an NVIDIA graphics card.
What is known
The hardware platform is built around the Ryzen 9 7940HS hybrid processor, which is complemented by 64 GB of LPDDR5X-6400 RAM in the top modification. The maximum capacity of a PCIe 4.0 SSD is 1TB.
The graphics subsystem is represented by a GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with a power consumption of 105 watts. It has an AD107 chip of the Ada Lovelace generation with a frequency of 2.37 GHz in Boost mode and 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory.
Lenovo Legion Slim 5 received a 14.5-inch OLED display. The panel has a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, 400 nits of brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop weighs 1.9 kg and is 21 mm thick.
To connect additional devices, Lenovo Legion Slim 5 has HDMI 2.1, USB-A and USB-C ports. The battery capacity was 73.6 Wh. The laptop comes with a 140W power adapter.
Price and when to expect
Sales of Lenovo Legion Slim 5 will begin in September 2023. The cost of a laptop in the US starts at $1440.
