Lenovo unveils the Yoga Book 9i at the CES trade show. It is a ‘laptop’ which is actually two 13.3″ OLED screens placed one on top of the other. The two equally sized screens are touch sensitive. The device is expected to be released in April for a price of about 2000 dollars.
The Yoga Book 9i can be thought of as a kind of tablet that can also be used as a laptop with the addition of a keyboard. Among other things, a tripod, a stylus and a bluetooth keyboard are included. This keyboard can be connected in several ways, but it can also be omitted completely.
The two screens can be used on top of each other, but also next to each other as if it were an open book. Screens can be used separately to display different items, so windows can be moved from one screen to another. It is also possible to merge both screens, so to speak, and let the display continue.
The device has two screens, each with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels. The displays can display 100 percent of the dci-p3 color space. There is support for high dynamic range in the form of Dolby Vision and there are four speakers. The Yoga Book 9i runs on Windows 11, packs a 13th Generation Intel Core i7 CPU, has up to 16GB of DDR5 memory, up to 1TB of storage, and there are three USB-C connections with Thunderbolt 4.
