Lenovo Confirms Development of Legion Go Gen 2 and Budget-Friendly Lite Model: What to Expect

For some time now, we have heard that Lenovo is smaller, lighter and cheaper Legion Go about to launch a model after the success of the handheld console. There are more and more signs that the affordable handset is in development: it was just announced on Lenovo’s official website the other day. If that wasn’t enough, the company has now pretty much confirmed that the second generation console, the Legion Go Gen 2, is also on the way.

These were published in detail in the specification data sheet of the Lenovo Legion Go USB-Cs dock, and the description includes two models that the manufacturer has not yet officially announced. These are the Legion Go Lite and Legion Go Gen 2 consoles – the former is a budget-friendly model without detachable controllers, while the latter is an upgraded, more powerful version of the handheld.

Legion Go Gen 2 is expected to include the Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, which will increase performance by up to 33 percent compared to the previous Z1 Extreme. As for the discounted Go Lite, it is rumored to be powered by the standard Ryzen Z1 processor, which is expected to launch in 2023. ROG Ally they can enter the market as an alternative.

For now, Lenovo has refrained from giving promises or official statements regarding the future of Legion Go. With the Ryzen Z2 series expected to debut sometime early next year, there’s every chance that the new handsets will appear after that – in fact, they could the Lite arrived even faster than that.
