Had it been a normal year would MWC 2021 has been a huge hotbed of advertisements for mobile phones, tablets and smartwatches. This year we have instead been served a delay of four months, and a mass exodus from the event of most major technology companies – but Lenovo clearly did not get the note that went around, because yesterday they announced a good handful of new tablets.
From five new Android devices covers a wide range of prices, ranging from cheap models to the cream of the crop offered, and perhaps the most interesting announcement today is the innovation Lenovo Yoga Tab 13. The tablet is a member of the very exclusive club models that have a screen the size of the one in iPad Pro 12,9″, which should make it enticing for many users.
We give you a full overview of the new Lenovo tablets below, so you can see the differences between the models – it is worth noting that Lenovo has not released all the information about all the tablets, so many of the boxes are empty, but we bets that more specifications are on the way.

Even though there are a number of gaps to fill, it is still relatively clear how the various models will position themselves.
The Tab M devices appear to be portable entertainment devices in the same layer as, for example, the Amazon Fire tablets, but with “proper” Android, instead of Amazon’s self-produced variant.
The yoga range is sharper, with specifications that make them probably better suited for media production, office work and for companies. They also have built-in racks with hooks, so you can place them in many different ways, and on many different surfaces.
So how does the Lenovo Tab P11 Plus fit into the picture? It basically looks like this is a kind of variant of the Yoga Tab 11, but without the stand, and that it thus has a more common tablet design.

Lenovo has so far only released information about prices in euros, so you should take the calculation of Norwegian prices with a pinch of salt – it may well be that regional prices will be different at launch, not to mention which models end up where. We have not yet confirmed which models may end up in Norway.
Although it seems that the new Android tablets from Lenovo are planned to be launched soon, there is still some uncertainty about the Tab M8, since there is so little information available about this particular model. However, the price will probably not be much higher than the one you have to pay for the M7.
No wonder the Yoga Tab 13 compares to the iPad Pro, given the price (which is undoubtedly quite high), but the other tablets are quite a bit cheaper, so if you’re looking for a new Android tablet, you can be that these will compete well in their respective price layers.
