Lenovo announces event for suspected announcement of successor Motorola razr – Tablets and phones – News

Lenovo has announced an event for next month, presumably to present the successor to the Motorola razr folding smartphone. There had been rumors for some time that the successor would come in September.

The text accompanying the invitation says ‘flip the smartphone experience once again’, a clear reference to the slogan ‘you’re going to flip’, with which the company teased the first razr last year, writes The Verge. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9. Lenovo announced the previous razr in November 2019.

Is Rumors have been going on for months about the successor. It would have a 6.7 “screen, larger than the 6.2” display of the previous version. The new razr would get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor with 5g support. The battery is said to have a capacity of 2845mAh, compared to 2510mAh in the previous model.

The rear camera will have a resolution of 48 megapixels, with 20 megapixels at the front. The device would also have 8GB of working and 256GB of storage memory, both an improvement over the previous model. The Motorola razr came out earlier this year. The name refers to the classic folding phone from Motorola.
