Lenovo adds two models of titanium 2-in-1 and keyboard detachable to ThinkPad –Engadget Japanese version

Lenovo Japan released new products for the domestic market, the 13.5-inch rotary 2-in-1 “ThinkPad X1 Titanium” and the 12.3-inch keyboard removable PC “ThinkPad X12 Detachable” on February 9. Prices start at 319,000 yen (tax included) for the ThinkPad X1 Titanium and 226,600 yen (tax included) for the ThinkPad X12 Detachable.

The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a model that was announced as “ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga” at CES in January. Titanium material is used for the housing, achieving the thinnest 11.5 mm in history for a 2-in-1 ThinkPad. The display turns 360 degrees to the back and can be used in tablet style.

The display is 13.5 inches, the aspect ratio is 3: 2, and the resolution is 2256 x 1504. It also supports operation with a stylus (sold separately), and the stylus can be attached to the side of the housing or the top plate with a magnet.

The CPU is the 11th generation Intel Core i5 / i7, the memory is up to 16GB, and the storage is up to 1TB SSD. As an interface, it has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 3.5mm jack. It is also possible to install a 5G (sub6), LTE modem.

The other ThinkPad X12 Detachable is also a model that was announced overseas at CES 2021 like the X1 Titanium.

It is a Surface style tablet PC with a separate keyboard, a 12.3-inch display, an aspect ratio of 3: 2, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080. This also supports stylus operation (standard attachment), and has a pen holder for storage on the side of the keyboard.

The CPU is the 11th generation intel Core i3 / i5 / i7. SSD with up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage. The interface is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4s, USB Type-C (3.2 Gen 1), and a 3.5mm jack. It also supports LTE as an option, but does not support 5G modems.
