Singer and composer Lenka Dusilová changed three of the four nominations with her album Řeka at the music awards of the Czech Academy of Music (ČHA) Anděl. She succeeded in the categories Album, Solo Performer and Song, which she mastered thanks to the song Vlákna. Academics elected Robert Christian to the Anděl Awards Hall of Fame. The awards were presented on Saturday evening in a live broadcast on Czech Television. Due to anti-pandemic measures, the ceremony took place without an audience, only in the presence of nominated artists. They recorded a special performance in advance.

Eight musical performances took the format of unique, live and sung pre-recorded video clips. The winners of all fifteen angel categories were announced live from the studio compared to last year. The Anděl Awards have been awarded annually since 1991 by the Academy of Music, which is composed of musicians, producers, playwrights, journalists and other personalities of the domestic music scene.
