Los Angeles – Leni Klum (17) is well on the way to following in the footsteps of her successful model mom Heidi Klum (48), who has been one of the most successful top models in the world since 1992. But if Leni Klum has her way, the 17-year-old, who is about to graduate from high school, doesn’t just want to focus on modeling in the future. Leni has now spoken exclusively about her plans at ProSieben.

Leni Klum: Heidi Klum’s daughter doesn’t just want to model in the future
At the tender age of 18, Heidi Klum won Thomas Gottschalk’s model contest called “Model ’92” in 1992 and then started a world career. Today their eldest daughter Leni is the same age – and in the process of following his mother’s example. The young model, who will also be 18 at the beginning of May, has already had numerous photo shoots and has launched her own fashion collection. In addition, Leni Klum has recently become the face of the luxury brand Dior.
The optimal conditions for Leni Klum to start full-time as a model after graduating from school. But Heidi Klum’s eldest daughter wants to go her own way – and has no desire at all to only model in the future, as she revealed to the ProSieben magazine “Red” (read more news about celebrities on RUHR24).
Leni Klum wants to go to college in New York: Mother Heidi Klum “will call every day”
After graduating from school, Leni Klum would like to pursue an academic career and go to college in New York. However, the 17-year-old does not want to give up her modeling career entirely: “I also want to continue modeling. At the moment I also go to school and model at the same time. So I see no problem there. (…) Now I only work on the weekends and concentrate on school during the week,” says Leni Klum, who has a talent for multitasking.
The young model already has concrete plans for her student life in New York, where Leni Klum was also born in May 2004, as she reveals in the interview. The teenager did not want to reveal any more details – but one thing is already clear: “I think my mom will call me every day and ask, ‘How was your day? Did you eat?’ She’ll always want to know how I’m doing,” smiles Leni Klum.

No wonder – after all, Mama Heidi Klum and daughter Leni Klum, who recently spoke German almost without an accent in an Instagram video, would then separate almost 4500 kilometers and three time zones. At the end of 2020, Heidi Klum gave an interview Vogue admits that one of her biggest fears is when Leni “moves out of the house”. But the model mom can be sure of one thing: Leni Klum will go her own way.
