An ocean of emotions shakes the young coalition “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria”. Hours before the final lists were arranged, Lena Borislavova gave her consent to be second in the central 24th district of the capital. There, it is not yet clear who will be the first of the partners – Atanas Atanasov, Hristo Ivanov or former justice minister Nadezhda Yordanova.
The move with Lena stressed the partners from DB, as an internal study of one of the major sociological agencies showed a negative rating of 93% for the young lawyer.
However, the former head of the prime minister’s office of Kiril Petkov told her colleagues that
it won’t work MP, but her name in
the forehead of Sophia leaf meant to
show the women
in our country, that they have a place in politics. Borislavova herself devoted a dedicated post to this topic at the time of the strong attacks against her.
Not only because of the heavy commitments in the party, she thought to play in the elections, but not to enter the parliament – there was a formal reason. Internal rules in “The Change” do not allow parallel careers of families. Therefore, she will give way to her fiance Miroslav Ivanov (leader of the leaves in Yambol).
Borislavova was greatly outraged by Alexander Dunchev’s reaction and made an attempt to exclude the fighter against the timber mafia from PP, which turned out to be technically impossible.
Pak Borislavova is the author of the urgent message on the party’s Facebook page from that day. It begins with IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT and aimed to reassure party members that there will be no coalition with Tsvetan Tsvetanov. This provoked his party “Republicans for Bulgaria” to respond in a flash with a counterposition that it is “politically SHORT VISION” for the party of Petkov and Vassilev to refuse support. Tsvetanov also warns that PP is expanding its periphery to the left, but the coalition with DB will not be enough to consolidate the right-wing vote. In the declaration of the “Republicans” there is also a hint of “incorrectness” towards the “Change”.
As “24 chasa” wrote the other day, Tsvetanov will seek a partnership in the local elections, and on April 2, two or three names of his people may appear as a civil quota in the right-wing lists. The former second in the GERB and an experienced voter provided logistical assistance in filling the sectional committees with right-wing representatives. During the time she worked for Prime Minister Petkov, Lena Borislavova communicated with Tsvetanov, although now she vehemently denies joint actions. He probably also advised the young party on relations with MPs from his former political force, GERB, at the time when the “Change” government surprisingly fell.
And on a third line, passions are raging in the new coalition. Farmers sometimes enter it, sometimes they don’t, according to official announcements on the site. Initially, there was an idea for the former Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev with his BZNS to become a partner, but then the people of Anastasia Moser, whom Petkov and Vassilev met during their last visit to the USA, also appeared.
However, the urban rightists were against the appearance of Moser’s people, since according to them there are currently no farmers in Bulgaria. As a joke from the camp of Gen. Atanasov share that they had to explain to Lena who Moser is.
In the new coalition, former parliamentary leader Nikola Minchev is the only dual leader – he will lead the lists in Kardzhali and Plovdiv, as in the last vote.
GERB, on the other hand, was preparing a cast against one of the iconic figures for “The Change” – Boyko Rashkov. Although in Borisov’s party they decided to repeat their previous list leaders, mainly former ministers and leading MPs,
unexpected rumor for casting
surprises the pillow structure,
as well as the previous leader there – ex-finance minister Kiril Ananiev.
Instead of the financier, the leader of the youth in GERB, Georg Georgiev, will be at the helm. He was Ananiev’s runner-up in Pernik in the vote in November 2021, but then the party took only one mandate there, and Georgiev was displaced with preferences by the eighth Hristina Georgieva. So far he has not had a leadership position, in October he was also second – in Lovech. There, too, he was replaced by candidates with preferences, but they refused the mandate, and so Georgiev entered together with the driver Nikolay Nankov. By the way, in 2014, Georg became the youngest deputy of GERB – even before he turned 23, he was appointed deputy foreign minister.
The other shift in GERB will be in Plovdiv region, where Desislava Trifonova will not lead, but probably Vezhdi.
Boyko Borisov refused to comment on names. “We have no problem with the lists, they are ready, signed, we will register them on Sunday – he said. But he added: – I think we have given a huge chance to the youth organization of GERB, because it fought many battles.”
