Lele Pons, singer and influencer, was involved in a controversy and was accused of animal abuse after publishing several videos where she is seen next to a crocodile with a black adhesive tape on its snout. The “Se Te Nota” singer was harshly criticized on social networks for appearing in some videos with a crocodile with its snout sealed with black tape.

In the images, which immediately went viral, Lele Pons appears smiling next to the animal. Unsurprisingly, the comments against the publication were quickly present.
Faced with criticism, Stef Roitman, one of her friends, tried to justify Lele Pons and stated that “the lizard is in the best condition” and that she had the tape over her mouth to avoid being attacked and that they were removed later.
However, the explanation was not enough. Even with this, the controversy increased and the criticism continued. So far, Lele Pons has not issued any statement in this regard.
This is ANIMAL ABUSE, this is NOT legal, and this is HORRIBLE. What people you publish like @stefroitmanok and @lelepons make this viral and public knowledge, it is very sad.Having an animal for their fun is not good, 2021 and we still have to explain it? pic.twitter.com/QztZ9zEY7y & – ta ?? Although some also defended it, the majority categorized their action as: “This is animal abuse, this is not legal and this is horrible,” said one user. Another person on Twitter also posted: “What’s wrong, you think this is funny, but it’s not, the crocodile suffers and it’s illegal.”
