On January 11, 2016 all hell broke loose in Leipzig-Connewitz: while Legida was demonstrating in the city center, a mob of over 200 neo-Nazis and hooligans roamed the trendy district, demolished shops, apartments and cars.

113,000 euros in damage remained, 214 of the rioters were able to catch the police on site.

Dominic K from Dresden was among those who took part. The participant in several neo-Nazi demos is said to have traveled from Straßburger Platz to Leipzig together with members of the Freital Group and the Dresden Free Comradeship.

However, more than five years later, he did not come to trial.

Since he then only committed one more criminal offense on January 26, 2016, the Public Prosecutor’s Office applied for a penalty warrant.

Dominic K. can, however, file an objection, in which case another lawsuit would ensue.
