“Bröderna Öhman” has released their first song on Spotify
After having success with both series and stage show, the popular duo Leif and Billy have now released their first song, “Sörbäckenkartellen”.
For seven seasons have Class Eriksson and Alfred Svensson gave life to the characters Leif and Billy in SVT‘s hit series of the same name and over the past six months, the duo has also sold out their latest venture, the stage show God damn what a damn SHOW!
Now the duo has taken another step in their career and on April 18 they released their song Sörbäcken cartels on Spotifyunder the stage name The Öhman brothers. It is above all reminiscent of the Norrland duo Hooraybut also the kind of EPA music that Miss Snusk spits out along with Rasmus Gozzi.

Inspired by the Nordic duo Hooja
In an interview with The evening paper Klas Eriksson and Alfred Svensson say that they are constantly looking for ways to innovate Leif and Billy, to keep their characters alive without getting stuck in old threads. Their new song also reminds a little of another northern duo’s style and The Öhman brothers tells us that they don’t mean to compare themselves to Hooja, but that instead they took inspiration from them.
– We cannot measure up to Hooja at all. But I think we are both fans of Hooja, and of course we have been inspired a little by them, says Klas Eriksson.
The Öhman brothers believes that whether there will be more songs or not depends entirely on how Sörbäcken cartels is received.
– I think we should keep all doors open. We’ll see how it goes now, if people like our music, says Alfred Svensson.
