The eagerly awaited Star Wars series Kenobi starts on Disney+ on Friday with the first two episodes. The anticipation is now even greater, as there are images of two LEGO Star Wars novelties with Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigures. One of the models refers explicitly to the new series!

LEGO 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobis Jedi Starfighter
We know the white and crimson starfighter from Star Wars Episode II, where Obi-Wan goes in search of Jango Fett and accidentally discovers the clone army that has been mysteriously put into production on Kamino. And indeed, this set contains one for the first time Minifigur of Taun We, a Kaminoan. The other two characters are Obi-Wan in his Episode II outfit with hood or hair and the astromech R4-P17.

Showing the two sets together leads us to an interesting question: could it be that Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter is seen again in a flashback in the Kenobi series, or is the set simply appearing to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Episode II Attack of the Clones ?

LEGO 75336 The Scythe – Grand Inquisitor’s Transport
The first LEGO Star Wars set from the new Kenobi series on Disney+ is the Scythe, the Grand Inquisitor’s transport ship with set number 75336. The black spaceship costs 99,99 Eurocontains 924 To you and will be released on August 1st – a month after the season finale at the end of June. The Scythe can already be seen in the trailer for the series and will serve as a means of transport for the Inquisitors in their search for Obi-Wan.
among the 4 Minifigures in the set are the 3 Inquisitor: The Grand Inquisitor, Reva (the Third Sister) and the Fifth Brother. The fourth figure is Ben Kenobi, who wears a new hairpiece and a cloth poncho. The Inquisitors all come with the Inquisitor lightsaber ring hilt, which was previously only used in sets for Star Wars Rebels.
The Grand Inquisitor’s transport is built primarily in black with a trans-red cockpit window. The interior opens and provides seating for all three Inquisitors. A loading ramp can also be opened at the rear.
