Lola is deeply saddened by Jan’s passing. “I am incredibly grateful for his infectious zest for life, infinite creativity and indestructible optimism,” she wrote in her message. ‘For his friendship and loving care, for his weird humor and hysterical laughter. But above all, I am incredibly sad. ‘Cause man, I miss him already.’

Lola and Jan participated in the first season of the program together. Jan says he had a passion for LEGO for as long as he could remember. They went home with the win, 25,000 euros and a trip to Denmark.
