The LEGO House is again looking for great building models to decorate the world-famous LEGO House in Billund. The LEGO Ideas team is holding a competition to celebrate 90 years of the LEGO Group and is encouraging fans around the world to get involved.
The designs of the competition can either be built physically or created digitally. The only important thing is that the designs can be rebuilt from existing LEGO bricks. Of course, there are still a few specifications regarding the topic.
The first theme of the competition is music, because no celebration is good without music. For example, you can build a music band, a DJ booth or a record collection. The choice is yours as long as it has something to do with music. If music is not your topic at all, you can also build something about the future. How do you envision the next 90 years? What could technologies or houses look like then? The third option is the topic To celebrate required. The last 90 years of the LEGO Group are filled with history. What is your favorite moment or your favorite theme world? Whatever it is, make it a celebration!
90 years of LEGO Group sets and other set prizes await
25 winners from all three categories will each receive a 21037 LEGO House set and the opportunity to display their model, including a personalized LEGO brick with the designer’s name and country, in the LEGO House for a year. The three Grand Prize winners – one per category – will each win a 21037 LEGO House set, 40502 Brick Molding Machine, the new 40503 Dagny Holm Master Builder set and the LEGO Group 90th Anniversary set, which are still up for voting.
