The “LEGO Harry Potter Collection” has been released for modern platforms. However, fans are not enthusiastic about this as they see no graphical differences to the PS4 version.

There’s certainly no shortage of remasters these days. The next one, the “LEGO Harry Potter Collection,” was released yesterday, Tuesday. The announcement took place last month.
You can now buy the collection for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S or PC. The price is 39.99 euros.
This collection contains “LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4” and “Years 5-7” in revised form. The two titles were first released at the beginning of the last decade. A remaster for PS4 followed later, and now it’s the turn of the successor consoles. The two DLCs are also included.

The magical world of “Harry Potter” full of spells, potions and puzzles meets the creative LEGO charm here. Players of all ages are addressed this way. You experience the plot of all eight films as a humorous version and at the end you face the ultimate fight against Lord Voldemort.
Technical improvements include 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and faster loading times. Of course, the DualSense functions are used specifically on the PS5.
Anyone who owns the digital PS4 version can purchase the next-gen version in the store at a discount. The price for this is 20 euros.

As the comments make clear, users are not particularly enthusiastic. The most liked comment says: There are no differences to the PS4 version. People also ask why new editions are constantly coming onto the market.
In general, many would have liked a real remake instead of another remaster – like with the “LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga”. Other points of criticism include the lack of upgrade options and the lack of a physical edition. Therefore, a lot of fans are disappointed. Some even use the word “cash grab”.
