Update (December 26, 12:10 a.m.): As expected, LEGO has launched the Christmas sale in the LEGO online shop, discounting over 80 sets, including some exclusive kits that expire at the end of the year, such as the LEGO Chinese New Year 80111 Lunar New Year Parade with 30% off or the quite popular and only LEGO Star Wars 40658 Millennium Falcon – Christmas Diorama available at 30% off this year. But there are also sets on offer that remain in the range.
The exclusive sets, which we have listed for you and subjected to a current price comparison, are particularly attractive. For all other sets, feel free to browse the sale section yourself.
LEGO Chinese New Year on sale
Particularly popular in the end-of-year sale are the current year’s “Lunar New Year” sets, which you can now get directly from LEGO with a 30% discount. In recent years the sets have often sold out quickly.
Large, exclusive sets on offer
There are also some larger, exclusive LEGOs currently available in the LEGO Christmas sale. However, only two of them are on the EOL list at the end of the year and are therefore at risk of being sold out quickly (or permanently).

Original post: No matter how quiet it gets around Christmas here on the blog, one tradition will always remain at LEGO: the Christmas sale in the LEGO online shop just in time for December 26th. As in previous years, LEGO will reduce some sets promptly at midnight and thus refill the sale section in the shop. Most of the time these are sets that are supposed to disappear from the range at the end of the year anyway.
Unfortunately, LEGO has not officially confirmed which sets will be included, but some sets from the Last Chance section of the LEGO online store could likely be included – those sets that are and will be on the EOL list at the end of the year currently still available. Up to 40% discounts are said to be possible here, although the discount will certainly not be that high, especially for the popular sets.
There are currently 17 sets in stock in the sale area of the LEGO online shop – more sets will be listed here from midnight so that we can then know more about the scope of the campaign. We will of course list the reduced sets for you here in the article.
Unfortunately, there are currently no free items for sale in the LEGO online shop this year – the last promotions ended on December 24th. You will continue to collect the usual LEGO Insiders points for your purchases.
