Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government decided to extend the implementation PPKM outside Java & Bali until 20 September 2021. This was conveyed by the Chair of the Covid-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee Airlangga Hartarto in a virtual press statement, Monday (6/9/2021).
According to him, there was a decrease in the number of regencies/cities that experienced a decline in the PPKM level from level 4 to level 3, from 34 to 23.
Meanwhile, the number of provinces implementing PPKM Level 4 also decreased from seven provinces to two, namely East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan.
“The government has decided to extend the PPKM from 7 to 20 September,” said Airlangga.
The areas that implement PPKM Level 4 include Banda Aceh City (Aceh), Palangkaraya City (Central Kalimantan), and Bolaang Mongondow (North Sulawesi).
