Legitimate! Magically Caplok 24 Percent of BNBA Shares Worth Rp 745.67 billion

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The puzzle of the BNBA stock transaction in the negotiating market which took place on November 17, 2021, has finally been revealed.

PT Takjub Finansial Teknologi aka Magic was confirmed to be the party that acquired 24 percent of the shares of BNBA or PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk.

As previously reported by KONTAN, 24 percent of BNBA’s shares are equivalent to 554.4 million shares. Meanwhile, the transaction price is IDR 1,345 per share.

Thus Ajaib disbursed investment funds worth a total of Rp 745.67 billion.

Lyvinia Sari, Corporate Secretary PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (BNBA) on Friday (19/11) said that 544.4 million BNBA shares were bought by Magic from the hands of three investors; PT Surya Husada, PT Dana Graha Agung and PT Budiman Kencana Lestari.

After the transaction, PT Surya Husada’s ownership decreased from 1.05 billion shares or 45.45 percent to 772.8 million shares, equivalent to 33.5 percent.

Meanwhile, the ownership of PT Dana Graha Agung shrank from 630 million or 27.27 percent to 463.68 million, equivalent to 20.1 percent.

Then the ownership of PT Budiman Kencana Lestari decreased from 420 million or 18.18 percent to 309.12 million or 13.4 percent.

Previously, the main shareholder of BNBA had appointed an independent consultant to look for strategic investors.

President Director of PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk, Wikan Aryono, who was contacted by KONTAN (19/11) was not willing to provide an explanation as to whether in the future Ajaib would also become the controlling shareholder of BNBA or not.
