In the space of three days, part of the political landscape of Seine-Saint-Denis has become clearer.
In the 7th constituency (Bagnolet, Montreuil), Alexis Corbière, outgoing deputy La France insoumise (LFI) invested by the New popular ecological and social union (Nupes), was re-elected last Sunday with 62.94% of the vote and more than a quarter of registered voters (28.16%). Her main rival, Maire-Laure Brossier (Ensemble!) won 15.99% of the vote.
Another scenario, Clémentine Autain, also an outgoing LFI deputy invested by Nupes, is guaranteed to obtain 100% of the votes on Sunday June 19 since the withdrawal Monday evening of the various left candidate, Virginie De Carvalho.
At 1:00 p.m. this Tuesday, Azzédine Taïbi, communist mayor of Stains, also announced the withdrawal of his candidacy, thus leaving the seat of the 4th constituency (Le Blanc-Mesnil, La Courneuve, Dugny and Stains) to the communist candidate invested by the Nupes, Soumya Bourouaha, who will take over from Marie-Georges Buffet, of whom she was the substitute.
