A national investiture commission has appointed three first names for the constituencies of the Côte-d’Or for the legislative elections of June 2022.
The campaign is gathering pace now that Valérie Pécresse has been nominated as the Republicans’ candidate for the next presidential election (read the press release). It is the turn of the candidates for the legislative elections to make their involvement known.
In Côte-d’Or, the Federation of Republicans counts François-Xavier Dugourd as president and Pierre Bolze as departmental secretary. In October, they convened a first committee to launch a call for candidatures then, on December 1st, a second committee examined the said candidatures to transmit them to the national commission of investiture by carrying out a focus on the “territories in reconquest”. .
On December 2, at the headquarters of the Republicans in Paris, the CNI met, chaired by Christian Jacob, to examine the proposals from all over France. Around him, about forty deputies and senators.
For the Federation of Côte-d’Or, were also invited to participate in the CNI Senator Alain Houpert, who was present, and the deputy Rémi Delatte, who was absent.
Three candidates validated by the Republicans’ CNI
This Tuesday, December 7, 2021, François-Xavier Dugourd unveils the nominations validated unanimously by the CNI.
First constituency: François-Xavier Dugourd, current vice-president of the departmental council of Côte-d’Or, elected in the canton of Dijon 1
Second constituency: Rémi Delatte, outgoing LR-Libres deputy, will be supported “if he is a candidate”
Third constituency: Valérie Grandet, current municipal councilor in Longvic, sitting in the opposition
Fourth constituency: Hubert Brigand, current mayor of Châtillon-sur-Seine and vice-president of the departmental council of Côte-d’Or
Fifth constituency: the decision has been postponed to a next CNI
In the immediate future, the next meeting on the agenda of the executives of the Republicans will be a meeting on Saturday 11 December, room of the Mutuality in Paris, around Valérie Pécresse. Due to the fifth epidemic wave, the planned large public meeting at Porte de Versailles was canceled.
