The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) has received a letter of resignation from the legislative candidate NasDem NTT II electoral district, Ratu Ngadu Bonu Wulla, today. This was conveyed by KPU Commissioner August Mellaz at the 2024 General Election recapitulation plenary meeting.
“Of course we receive the letter and we will study it ourselves. We will also not convey in this forum what the substance is because what is certain is that this process is indeed a recapitulation of the vote tally for the elections for both president, vice president, DPR and DPD for the province of NTT,” said August in meeting, KPU RI, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/3/2024).
Meanwhile, in the legislative election recapitulation, Ratu Wulla was in third place in NTT II with 76,331 votes. He is two levels from NasDem politicians Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat which is in 5th position with 65,359 votes.
“In this open forum, the NasDem Party legislative candidate number 5 for the NTT II electoral district declared his resignation and thus we from the NasDem Party DPP submitted a letter to the Indonesian KPU with a copy to the Indonesian Bawaslu,” said NasDem Saki at the plenary meeting.
