Ce Sunday, June 12, 2022 for the first round of legislative elections, 124,714 voters from Rennes were called to the polls to determine the qualified candidates for the second round. Polling stations closed at 7 p.m. in the Breton capital.
In Rennes, they were 48 to stand for election. On the 8th constituency of Ille-et-Vilainewhich includes Mordelles, Rennes Centre, Rennes Centre-Ouest, Rennes Nord and Rennes Sud-Ouest, they were 14 candidates. The incumbent is Florian Bachelier (LREM / Renaissance), also first quaestor of the National Assembly during the previous term.
Who are the candidates for the second round?
The two qualified candidates for the second round in the 8th constituency are Mickaël Bouloux from NUPESwhich comes first with 45,72 % of votes and Florian Bachelier (Ensemble / LREM) with 32.26 %, who will have a lot to do in the second round to keep his seat as a deputy. 6660 votes separate the two candidates at the end of the first round.
I am combative. We will continue to campaign until the end, we have five days to convince. Starting tomorrow, I will be in the field, going door to door to talk about our program.

- Kamel Elahiar (DIV) : 0.22%
- Marvin Leroux (DXG) : 0,17 %
