Unlike the normal game, you face another player to destroy the enemy Nexus, in The Path of Champions you have 30 life points, which will remain fixed until the end of the adventure. On the board you walk to find enemies and items, the player can collect points to get more life and heal.

But if you are a player with some experience in Legends of Runeterra, the initial part will not be as challenging. But, according to the development team of the new mode, the difficulty increases as you progress through the scenario, which can make you, a regular player of Their, manage to find a challenge in the experience.

From what was possible to play in this new mode of the card game, the experience was quite satisfying. There are new ways to bring the player up to date with the game mechanics and still offer a way to have fun without facing other players, which is very welcome.

With The Path of Champions, it seems that Their will also invest in PvE events to keep the player entertained for a long time. Another point worth mentioning are the choices you can make during your walk. For example, one of the options Jinx has throughout history is to arrest Caitlyn or set her free. Your choice of Sheriff of Piltover will give you some rewards and a different path for the player.

Items can also be acquired during your journey across the board, which increase the power of the cards and help you progress during the challenge you face. Despite the aforementioned ease if you are already an experienced player, these new mechanics are interesting because they allow different types of strategies and strengthen some cards you have at the beginning of the game. It is possible, for example, to apply an item that deals more damage to a card or increase its maximum health to hold more damage. It all depends on your will.

The feeling that comes with playing The Path of Champions is that Legends of Runeterra wants even more to “unite the tribes” and get the attention of players from LoL who haven’t yet embarked on the card game, offering a more relaxed experience before diving headlong into the mechanics and intricacies of the main mode.

With multiple regions and champions released, Legends of Runeterra offers a vast world of possibilities for both casual and experienced gamers. AND The Path of Champions enough to adjust precisely in this aspect, bringing new ways to have fun and understand how Their it works. In the end, fun is guaranteed.
