The names in the lineup of the Old boys Slovan team recalled the club’s greatest achievements. The extremely successful era of the 1970s was represented by Marián Bezák, Jozef Klejna, and Martin Šechný, supported by players from the 1980s, Eduard Uvíra, Ľubomír Pokovič, Ivan Dornič, Róbert Pukalovič, Peter Franta, Ján Taraba, Marián Horváth, and Jozef Pethö.

The youngest generation of “white” legends from the 90s were represented by Richard Kapuš, Miroslav Šatan, Pavol Rybár, Miroslav Lažo, Michal Hreus, Peter Podhradský, Michal Hudec and Sasu Hovi.

Satan was the main character of the match, scoring two goals and assisting one. He joined Laž and Kapuš in the attack. “It was great to play alongside such players. There were all those names that attracted people to the stadium. We were the checking line with Miro Laž and Riša Kapuš, that is, the youngest.” said Satan.

The match was marked by rain and the puck sometimes stopped in the water. “The puck gets stuck in the water, you can’t look at where your teammates are, but you have to check where the puck is,” said the former gunner.

Many well-known names appeared in the Sparta Prague jersey, the audience saw players such as Jiří Hrdina, Jaroslav Nedvěd, František Ptáček, Ondřej Kratěna, Jaromír Kverka, Evžen Musil, Richard Žemlička and others.

“Good weather was the only thing missing, but you can’t choose. It was bad luck. Otherwise it would have been at the level it should have been. But thank you for the invitation and we will come again if they invite us.” stated the Hero.

The former successful Czechoslovak representative and winner of three Stanley Cups rushed to the VIP area after the match, looking forward to a debate with the Slovak players: “We don’t meet often, so we’re looking forward to chatting over a beer.”
