There were all those names that attracted people to the stadium. We were the checking line with Miro Laž and Riša Kapuš, that is, the youngest.” said Satan.
The match was marked by rain and the puck sometimes stopped in the water. “The puck gets stuck in the water, you can’t look at where your teammates are, but you have to check where the puck is,” said the former gunner.
Many well-known names appeared in the Sparta Prague jersey, the audience saw players such as Jiří Hrdina, Jaroslav Nedvěd, František Ptáček, Ondřej Kratěna, Jaromír Kverka, Evžen Musil, Richard Žemlička and others.
“Good weather was the only thing missing, but you can’t choose. It was bad luck. Otherwise it would have been at the level it should have been. But thank you for the invitation and we will come again if they invite us.” stated the Hero.
The former successful Czechoslovak representative and winner of three Stanley Cups rushed to the VIP area after the match, looking forward to a debate with the Slovak players: “We don’t meet often, so we’re looking forward to chatting over a beer.”
