Tons of Rock have secured the legends Judas Priest and accommodates the public survey where the icons are on almost all top lists. Tons of Rock is the first European festival to launch the heroes who recently celebrated 50 years in the service of rock and have sold 50 million albums.

With an intense touring activity right back to the early nineties, when several of the genre’s other legends could not tour due to prison terms and other violent circumstances, sat Abbath and Immortal Norway is emphatically on the map as a supplier of black metal as catchy as it is brutal with enormous amounts of personality. Now the genre’s most recognizable figure is coming to Oslo to play an exclusive set with only Immortal-allows.
Forever relevant Parkway Drive have risen to the elite division as standard bearers for melodic and brutal metalcore, and are now topping European festivals. Last year’s “Darker Still” shows a band that still delivers the biggest breakdowns and riffs combined with an infernal live energy. The headliner for a new generation of rock and metal will make Ekebergsletta shake in June. Swedish Opeth have visited Tons of Rock several times, and is an undisputed audience favourite. This time they let the fans choose the set list for a unique concert experience at Ekebergsletta. Oslo’s biggest rock band Oslo Ace is coming for his only summer performance in Tigerstaden. With 4,000 tickets sold in Oslo this autumn, they are now ready for their biggest home concert ever.
