Legendary Singer Margi Hranova: Still Delighting Fans at 71 without Cosmetic Surgery

“Some time ago, I was not approved for a personal pension. Apparently, that’s how it had to be. I don’t want something at any price, I’m not that ambitious. But I still get three years of 500 BGN every month. I hope I don’t have to rely on these money.” This is shared by our legendary singer Margi Hranova, who continues to delight us with some of her best songs.

Just a few days ago, the song “One Bulgarian Rose” was released with the participation of the singer in a new version. The project is “Singing Artists” and it is run by Veni Markovski.

At 71 years old, the performer does not take special care of herself, but she looks brilliant – without the intervention of surgical interventions for beautification.

“A while ago I broke my left arm and they put a metal plate on it. I’m in pain and it will have to be removed. Years ago I broke my knee cap and they put a nail in it, but I don’t want to complain, I’m fine,” says the ever-smiling singer. Margie is a people’s favorite and doesn’t think old age should necessarily scare people.

“It’s more important to keep our spirit alive. That’s the course of life, it’s inevitable. It’s also important for me to keep working, to make people happy, which happens when I’m healthy. Yes, they say that with as the years progress, the voice falls and it’s not the same, but it’s not like that with me, thank God. The exception is when I’m sick, but I’m very careful. I try to keep quiet, that’s how I recover,” the singer tells “Bulgaria Today”.

Margie is adamant that she would not choose to participate in a reality show anymore, but not because of her age, but because she is not a fan of the show in its “gossip version”. “I participated in “Like Two Drops of Water” and in “VIP Brother”. However, I was younger then as well,” says our talented singer with a smile, who from May until the end of summer has concerts with her colleagues from the pop guild. “If people visit us so much, it means they like what we do. That makes me happy,” says the magnificent Margi Hranova.
