British photographer Mick Rock, immortalized a lot musical legends and followed David Bowie in the early 70s, died at the age of 72, the Associated Press and AFP reported.
Rock’s family announced on social media the death of the London-born photographer in 1948, without revealing the cause.

Rock became famous in the early 70s of the last century with the first portraits of the legendary David Bowie (1947-2016).
For almost two years, Mick Rock has been the official photographer of the British singer and songwriter, for whom he shot the covers, posters and videos for “Life on Mars”, “Space Oddity” and others.
Rock also documented the existence of the glamorous and decadent Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie’s alter ego between 1972 and 1973.
