Friday, November 8 at At 19.00, VEF Culture Palace will host a concert of veterans of the Music and Art Festival “Bildes“, and on November 9 – the last concert of “Bilžu”. Both those musicians who have participated in the festival since its beginning and who have been playing music since the last century, as well as those who had the “Bilžu” level as the beginning of their creative journey, taking part in the performances.
This year the festival celebrates 35 years. It will be a reunion festival for musicians, artists and audiences after four years of apparent silence. The previous festival was held in 2019. The festival “Pictures” was held for the first time in 1985 in the student club of the Riga Polytechnic Institute in the Anglican Church.
All music lovers are waiting in the audience, but representatives of all the students of the universities of the last century are specially invited to the reunion – members of student building units and self-help groups, cultural activists and just music-loving students who attended. at the birth of the festival and its beginning.
