Legendary American musician Tony Bennett died at the age of 96 this Friday in New York, his publicist confirmed.
Bennett had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016, although the cause of his death is unknown.
The musical legend gave voice to classic songs like “I left my heart in San Francisco” and was known as the last of the great lounge singers of the 20th century.
Bennett released nearly 70 music albums that earned him 19 Grammy Awards.
