Legendary Lebanese Artist Fadi Ibrahim Passes Away at 67

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Lebanese artist Fadi Ibrahim passed away at the age of 67, according to what Lebanon TV announced, in a post on his account on the “X” platform, previously Twitter, and local Lebanese media.

The family of the late artist announced in a recent press statement, “After the long period he spent in treatment and due to the complications that occurred with him, he was transferred to intensive care, and visits were prohibited from him, and we ask his fans and fans to pray and pray for his recovery.”

The late Fadi Ibrahim suffered from complications from diabetes, which caused the amputation of one of his legs, one of the fingers on his hand, and a toe on the other foot. His condition witnessed a kind of stability at the beginning of this year, before it deteriorated again over the past few days.

Fadi Ibrahim began his artistic career in the 1980s. During this career, which exceeded 40 years, he presented many television roles. He had extensive participation in Syrian drama and joint Lebanese drama in recent years. He also played roles in Egyptian series.

Among the famous works in which he participated: “Death Coming to the East,” “Sons of Al-Rashid,” “Asmahan,” “Naji Atallah Band,” “The Peasants’ Revolution,” “Kingdoms of Fire,” “2020,” and “For Death.”
