Top Hat Studios has announced that their retro-inspired American football title, Legend Bowl, is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this summer. The game offers different modes including Franchise mode where you as a coach can build a team and compete for the championship. In addition to on-field gameplay, there are many options for managing stadium facilities, player contracts, off-season activities, and more. There’s also Exhibition mode for normal drop-in games for up to four players. Everything is achieved through classic pixel art visuals where everything can be customized to your liking. If this is similar to last year’s Retro Bowl, it’s because it is. It looks like American football’s arcade touch will remain. There’s no specific date yet as to when Legend Bowl for Switch will begin outside of “summer 2023,” but we expect to hear more news in the coming months.
