Leganés and Getafe will review this week how the coronavirus has affected their municipalities.
In Getafe, the mayor, Sara Hernández, will do it in a telematic plenary session (Wednesday from 09:30 hours). There the councilor will report “on the policies, projects, services and activities deployed by the municipal government in relation to Covid-19 and its impact on the city.”
In plenary session, a joint motion of PSOE, Podemos and Más Madrid Commitment with Getafe will be approved to demand the “immediate resignation” of the Minister of Health from the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, for “the negligent health management of Covid-19”, especially with regard to the care of elderly and disabled people.
While in Leganes, the traditional, but telematic, ‘Debate on the state of the municipality’ is held (Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m., and Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m.), undoubtedly marked by the post-coronavirus scenario.
It will begin with the intervention of Mayor Santiago Llorente who, in addition to taking stock, will outline the main lines of the projects that will be carried out in the coming months; then the rest of the spokespersons will intervene.
