Legal! These are the serial numbers of the four pairs of candidates for the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election

The drawing and determination of serial numbers of four candidate pairs for the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election was held on Monday (23/9/2024). The agenda was held in West Java KPU Office Hall, Jalan Garut number 11, Bandung City.

The draw and confirmation event this time is very special, as all pairs of candidates will be asked to take their queue numbers first. In front of the crowd of supporters of the four pairs of candidates, in addition to being ready for the photo, there were also four boxes showing Wayang Golek with the characters Gareng, Semar, Dawala and Cepot.

Each candidate for Deputy Governor of West Java took a queue number which was then shown to the audience. After that, they were invited to take the key of the box according to the queue. The candidate pairs take the box key, and then the box is opened and shown together.

The queue number consists of the numbers 1-14, and then the number sequence is taken from the smallest number. The couple Ahmad Syaikhu and Ilham Habibie received the first turn with the key of the box with the image of the Gareng puppet.

Followed by the couple Jeje Wiradinata and Ronal Surapradja with a box key depicting the puppet Semar. In the third turn, the couple Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan received the key to the box with the image of the puppet Cepot.

Then the last turn, namely Acep Adang Ruhiyat and Gitalis Dwi Natarina, got the key to the box with the image of the Dawala puppet. When the boxes were opened simultaneously, Acep Adang Ruhiyat and guitarist Dwi Natarina received serial number 1.

Serial number 2 went to Jeje Wiradinata and Ronal Surapradja, serial number 3 went to Ahmad Syaikhu and Ilham Habibie, then serial number 4 went to the pair of Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan.

“The West Java KPU has drawn a lot and confirmed serial numbers. Confirmed as follows are Mr. Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan with serial number 4, Mr. Ahmad Syaikhu and Ilham Habibie with serial number 3, Mr. Acep Adang Ruhiyat and Gitalis Dwi Natarina with serial number 1″, Mr. Jeje Wiradinata and Ronal Surapradja with serial number 2,” said West Java KPU Chairman Ummi Wahyuni.

“Yesterday, September 22 2024, four candidates were nominated to participate in the West Java Gubernatorial Election 2024. Today we will continue to draw and confirm candidates, and tomorrow there will be a peace confirmation to do it as a form of appreciation and respect for each other. for the implementation of the West Java Gubernatorial Election,” he continued.
