The ‘very demure, very interesting’ hype has left a bitter taste for TikTok star Jools Lebron. A man from Washington ran away with the rights to the slogan. In tears, Lebron explained on TikTok how disappointed she was, but later deleted the video.

The American-Puerto Rican influencer Jools Lebron went viral on TikTok this month. Her statement was copied hundreds of thousands of times around the world by stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Lily Collins, known from Emily in Paris. There was a lot of attention for him in Holland too.

In a video, Lebron talked about her little ensemble for work. She called it a ‘very embarrassing, very sensitive’ appearance. She also explained in the video that she was not consciously going to the office with too much make-up, but that she wants to look visible. His video has been viewed tens of millions of times:

Last week, Lebron, who identifies as a trans woman, said all the attention has changed her life. For example, she can pay for medical procedures thanks to the money she earns from her viral video.

‘It’s not fast enough’

However, in the last few days it was clear that the attention to her had its drawbacks. “I didn’t secure the rights fast enough,” she tearfully said in a video on TikTok that she later deleted.

According to an entertainment website TMZ a man in Washington has claimed that he is ‘very disappointed, very sensitive’ hoping to cash in on Lebron’s success.

Experts tell the British newspaper The Keeper that the TikTok star still has a chance to keep the rights if she files a case quickly. “As soon as you see a statement going viral, you need to intervene quickly,” said Kyona McGhee, who specializes in these types of claims. If she doesn’t, a long legal battle could cost Lebron money.

In the meantime, other TikTokkers are using their pronunciation depressed as a joke for hitters. Because according to them, online bragging about how polite you are is just a little thing, so they make parody versions. In the video below you can see how people on TikTok suddenly want to be controlled – or not.
