Iron Galaxy released the second patch for the PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, but the patch notes weren’t revealed until sometime later. The big news is that they are testing “an upcoming patch solution for users with older processors who do not meet the required level of AVX support”.
But this patch has also made some significant changes, according to the developers it should increase performance and finally fix problems with the mouse, although some users of the Steam forum are already complaining of a drop in performance.
- Overall stability and performance improvements
- ONLY FOR EG: Upload crash fix affecting Epic users
- Fixed a crash when interacting with a skeleton in the colony’s treasure crypt
- Fixed a crash when pickpocketing a waiter in the auction sequence
- Reduced stuttering when switching between scenes
- Mouse control improvements
- Added switch to enable raw mouse input, default is Off.
(NOTE: This new UI change will be correctly localized for all languages in a future patch).
- Increased mouse sensitivity multiplier
- Fixed an issue that resulted in mouse blurring in windowed mode
LOD improvements
- Improved LOD quality for High and Ultra texture quality settings
- Improved LOD decay when using an improved model quality setting
Other fixes
- Fixed key combination conflicts between melee and interaction actions
- Fixed issue with saving user-selected audio device ID and device-specific settings
- Fixed incorrect vignette scale when aspect ratio is not 16×9 in auction ballroom pickpocket scene
- Fixed an issue with the View menu prompting to apply changes when they were not made
- Troubleshoot problems that occur when deleting a save folder
NOTE: We are testing a workaround for the next patch for users with older processors who do not meet the required level of AVX support.
The PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was released on October 19 and is available on Steam and EGS.
