The dreaded event has finally taken place … Last week, in episode 14 of season 2 of Legacies, the truth about Josie was revealed. Black magic overwhelmed her. But what happened last night? The editorial ‘melty invites you to discover its verdict of episode 15 of season 2 of Legacies. He brought Darth Josie back to school for his 17th birthday, but instead of playing nicely, it sped up the merger and we weren’t expecting that soon. But if Lizzie had really won, she wouldn’t have died in the process. Linking his life to that of Landon was very reminiscent of an episode of season 2 of The Vampire Diaries, when Katherine’s life was linked to that of Elena to prevent the death of the doppelganger.
There was a part of Lizzie who felt weak because of the dark power that literally escaped from Josie, but it’s hard to say where we are with the Fusion after this episode 15 of season 2 of Legacies. In theory, making it useless would make it more difficult to hide the fact that Candice King is not in the series as Caroline Forbes. The battle was exciting, but the most likely scenario is that there will be repercussions which will mean that it will happen in a few years, at the time of their 22nd birthday. That being said, it made Lizzie realize there was more to life than being afraid and she did it thanks to M.G.
The best part of the fight between Hope and Josie (and of this episode) was when Lizzie came back and saved Hope who was on the verge of activating her vampire side. Furthermore, bringing Malivore back into the mix would give us a little more mythology on this front, and we had a good start with the Necromancer allowing Rafael to fulfill his part of the prophecy. The character disappeared for months and it was not surprising to learn of his death. He planted the arrow in Landon’s body and we fear the worst for the future of this character. Her loss would be dramatic for Hope who has already lost far too much in The Originals and Legacies… The Necromancer could use Landon as one of his puppets but there is surely more behind this intrigue. This episode leaves us with many questions. What does the future hold for us? Until we know more, find out if Hope and Josie are destined to be together in season 2 of Legacies.
