Lefty Show, the Summer League inspired by the United States –

From July 25 to 30, the Lefty Summer League will be held, about thirty minutes southeast of Paris, in Seine-et-Marne.

Faced with the absence of a Summer League on French territory despite a few exceptions such as the CourtCuts C League or the Admiral League, which for example does not take place this year, Hilario Sylva has embarked on the creation of its summer league, Lefty Summer League. In his home department, 77, from July 25 to 30 at the Jacky Chazalon gymnasium in Savigny-le-Temple.

I was inspired by what happens in the United States during the summer. I see a lot of videos from Ballislife, Overtime and in particular I noticed a Summer League that takes place in Miami, the Miami Pro League. The purpose of the event is to show that the department of 77 is full of young people and professional players. I wanted to create an event that allows them to play for a week at high intensity before returning to their respective clubs”, he confided to us.

CEO and founder of Lefty Show, Hilario Sylva offers camps or detections through his association for young players with potential in search of visibility. This Summer League also has a dual purpose. If every evening, the teams will face each other, during the day, some players will not be at rest.

During the Summer League, there will be a Lefty Show team. It will be made up of players that we have scouted and who are now signed in the agency of which we are partners STM (Sports Talent Management). At the same time as the Summer League, the players of this team will also take part in workouts every morning and every noon.”.

Alongside the Lefty Show team, several professional players will also be on the field such as the National 1 champion with Angers, Rosaire Malonga, close to Hilario Sylva, who has set up a team, or even young hopefuls from Betclic Elite or Pro B through Capsule Academy training.

In addition to offering an event this summer, the current player from Nuits-Saint-George, in National 3, wants to make this Lefty Summer League an unmissable annual meeting.

The Summer League in France, it’s starting to happen but it’s still quite rare. I want to enter this race there and make the Lefty Summer League an appointment not to be missed year after year while giving it credibility.

For its first this year, the Lefty Summer League will be able to count on the strong support of Peak, which will be the equipment supplier for the event.
